which one would you prefer more to run one kicker solo baric 12L5 at 1ohm?

You want the output at 2 ohms, not 1 ohm. Use the DVC 4 ohm sub, coils parallel-wired to 2 ohms. Maximum acceptable power to the sub is 600 watts and either of those amps will grossly overpower the sub at 1 ohm power output. See if one of those amps will output no more than 600 watts into a 2 ohm load.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
