It's been a while since i've worked as an installer, and a friend of mine has asked me to help him install some stuff in a 2005 mustang.  I've noticed in the last few years that the ford radios have changed.  Can anyone give me a quick tip in getting the radio out?  I dont want to explore in a buddy's car (but for some reason, i never had a problem figuring it out in a customers car) for fear of something going wrong.  Thanks!

Two screws in arm rest (lift it up)

Small black trip peice around shifter

Pull e brake all the way up!! COVER THIS or it will be scratched.
Pop arm rest console up and out over the e brake.
Pull both side trim peices straight out or lifting slightly from the bottom.
You will see from there :) AC control wiring is tricky. Lay down in floor board and you will see release.

Good luck with it all :) .....it wont be fun.............

Running wire or just deck?
