upgrade wire?

so i just put in a High output alt in my car. THe factory wire runnning from the alternator to the battery seems small.. . Looks 8 awg. Should i upgrade the wire as i am going to be charging two batteries?

You could be charging a hundred batteries, and it wouldn't necessarily mean you had to change your output wire... You base THAT decision on how much current your alternator can produce. How big is your alternator?

alternator is 150 amps

Normally the wire going from the alternator to the battery is about 2ft long. it's probably 4awg wire. It should be fine

if it is 8awg upgrade to 4awg
