I was just wondering if anybody could help me on this. I d like to hook up a amp to my home stereo , i have two subs that are 4ohm and my stereo cant power them  , I just wanna know how I can power up the amp :grn,pow,rem to a power socket or whatever , so any help or ideas would be appreciated

If your home system is like most, it is made for an 8 ohm load.  You can wire your 4 ohm subs in series and hook them up to your receiver.  The only other option that I think you have is to purchase a 12V converter and run your amp off of it.

Hi xiled83,  I recommend using an Astron power supply or equivalent. (  http://www.astroncorp.com/linear.shtml ) I use an RS-70A at home to power a head unit, crossover, and 2 amplifiers. With this I can play any source from my home receiver thru this system in my garage.
