ah, yeah, you should have tweeters hooked up....that would help
I'm trying to think right now if not having tweeters hooked up would cause the amp to go into protect, but my brain isn't working today...

The gains are properly set. They aren't too high. I guess that having the tweeters are suppose to be hooked up. Because they aren't hooked up but I don't know if that would throw anything off and cause the amp to shut down completely.

Having the tweeters disconnected should not cause any issues.  I suggest you take your system in to a professional shop in your area and have them look at it.

**Insulted** I am a professional, but unfortunately I haven't seen this problem before. I have never had a problem out of Infinity until installing it on my own vehicle.

Have you checked the jumpers on the tweeter level?  Maybe you can change this and it may work.  Or maybe you have to take off all the jumpers to run a no tweeter set-up.
