Which ever has a better price. Unless one has better features like a better x-over or filter system they both should be in the same league.

You are referring to the more current models of both mfr's?

both currect models they have out now.  they both got 1500D amps running at the same power at 2ohms which is 1000rms. just seeing what will be a better quailty amp to last long

Installed a gazillion MTX's they work. I'll stick with what works.

not much xp with ppi, but i agree with 5150, i don't think i've ever had a prob with mtx amps out of box, unlike what i can say for alpine, audiobahn, and even kicker amps.
car 1 = alpine 9807, mtx 404+mtx 311d, polk speakers, kappa 10"
car 2 = pioneer 7700, kicker 400x1, kicker 60x4, 10"compvr x2, kappa speakers

mtx  1501d's are great amps for the $. i've got 2 w/4 7500 mtx12's , never had one shut off over heat issuse ,plus they're modable an strapable.just make sure you have the subs to handle the power.
