I just got an N2 that I'm installing in an 03 Ram 2500 diesel. I just wann make sure I've got all my bases covered before I start. I did a search and came up with a couple things...

VSS Wire-The diagram shows WHITE/ orange wire @ pin 27 of the PCM, but doesn't say what engine. I saw a post the said it was pin 11 on the PCM for the 04 diesel

Back up wire-This is just the wire to the back up lights right?

Parking brake wire-This can just be grounded right? Or hooked to a switch?

One more question. I'm probably going to be getting another N2 for my 93 dakota. I can't find any info on the vss wire for this truck. It's a 3.9v6 with the a500 auto trans

Thanks in advance

You can't just ground that brake wire on the N2, it won't work like the older models. You will actually have to hook up that to your brake.

I hope the truck does not have the infinity system in it, cuz if it does, it could be a PITA... but anyway, actually the N2 can be easily hooked up to bypass the parking brake.  just ground the parking brake wire, and if you flip the unit over (the actual deck, not the brain) there is a foil sticker about 1" x 1/2" on the bottom.  peel it off, and you will see two contact points on the board labeled R197, just drop a bead of solder on them to connect the two... DONE! have fun!

even if it is infinity, all you should have to do is connect remote turn on.
