I was wondering if there was a way that could use my existing car speakers and a dash-mounted microphone for a hands-free kit, instead of using the headphones/microphone combo. If there is not a company that makes a product like this, is it possible for me to make one myself? I'm thinking I could possibly take the wire that would go to the headphones and just re-route it to the speakers and then just put a more powerful microphone in.

If anyone has any info on this, it would greatly be appreciated.
