I have a Kenwood KDC-519 "flipface" cd player. I turn the radio on, the display then reads code off, then all off & won't stay on. I can turn it on again, but the same sequence happens.
Ideas?

Lots of Kenwood flipface radio's I've seen come it with display problems it's been the ribbon cable between the face and radio. Check out Pacparts.com The part number for the ribbon cable is J84-0121-12 for $11.10 + S&H. They aren't to hard to replace and alot cheaper then a new radio.

You should also pull the raido out and meter your power and ground wires to make sure your not losing voltage when you turn the deck on.
