Having an annoying problem. When i start my car or turn my system on, it will sometimes work perfect, and other times the music will come through. The times it doesnt come through.. i can hear the bass line perfect... so the amp and my two subs are running fine. my component set is connected to a 360watt 4channel amp. So every once awhile my sound wont come out of the speakers... i will just get bass, could this possibly be my head unit broken not putting out sound to my components or do you think it is my 4 channel amp going bad? if i turn it up full blast real loud i can hear the song fade in and out really fuzzy, and really quiet... i pulled my dash apart and took out my head unit and everything is plugged in securely. any ideas on the prob?

What could be happening, is that maybe you have a speaker lead grounding out. Hence the comment about the protection light. When this happens, it makes the sound naturally not come out of the speakers. Check the amp to see if you have anything that says protection, or a light that has never lite before. Also, when you system dosen't play, try to wiggle some of the speaker wires and see if you notice a diffrence. Maybe a fuzzier sound, or anything abnormal more than what you have. I think that the problem like I staited is that maybe you have a grounding speaker wire, or a faulty RCA Jack lead. Hope this helps~~
