Hey all,

So since Im upgrading my wifes sound system I need to put a alarm on it, Im going with a 791 but my guy says he cant find the DEI part that allows me not to use my spare key for the remote start

Im not willing to lose a key, not for the price Honda wnats to make me another one so I'll dump the remote start if necessary

So if anyone knows the part# let me know so I can get that ordered

Later all

if you don't care too much about the factory immobilizer, you could use the ignition as a trigger for the dei ignition box instead of using the "ground when remote start" wire. That way you could get a cheap-o key made from anywhere and it would work. But i don't know what type of neighborhood you live in. Just a thought.

555I for the Civic. The 555H works on the CRV and the Pilot.

PS- The W on the end denotes a white box instead of a blister pack......
