i just got done installing the remote start alarm. my issue is when i remote start it  the lights flash until i put the key in is that suppose to do that ?

Yes, it comes programmed to do that. You can change it in programming mode so they stay on.

thanks i thought i mess something up. i have one more issue with the shock sensor i hit the windsheild and it wont warn is this because i dont have door pins?

Does it warn away if you hit another part of your car? Where did you mount the sensor? Is it tightly secured?

I strap it to the harness under the colum its set how it came from the factory

Im no pro here but I thought they had to be attached to a solid surface on the car somewhere. For instance I stuck mine to the under side of my dash, a nice solid spot, with some double sided 3m tape and it works as it should.

the chevy trucks are know to have bad door pins i got new ones on order should be here tomorow i hope thanks for the fast help

the reason it doesn't warn is because the loop end of the harness isn't facing the right direction.

Also, shock sensor does not work during remote start...

I have another question when I disarm it I get the door open icon but the door wasn’t tamper with at all do you think maybe I have a bad doorjamb switch? Until I get the issue fix is there a way I can bypass it? I just don’t want the alarm to go off.
