hey guys, i recently got a used mmats 12" audio sub and an xtant 121m amp for $90. i found that the foam surrounding on the sub has split and is there anywhere that sells the fix for this? i cant seem to find it. i did a search for some things on this forum but didnt find anything. Thanks for the help!

No, it's not easy to do...but it's made for the do-it-yourselfer. Follow instructions, prep the area like it says to do, take your time, be exacting. This is foam surround as used in home audio systems but it will last awhile in a car until you can upgrade your equipment, perhaps...

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

will it be effected if i already put some rubber cement over the area? and is this a full foam surrounding or just the repair piece?

Thanks ill be ordering it soon. But i have another issue, when my woofer pounds it sound like it is upagainst my trunk but it is atleast a foot away it sounds as if its hitting something bit its not. any suggestions? Thanks!

its propley rattling your trunk real bad try some sound deading

Hurry get me a steel hanger, elec tape, zip ties, a monkey and a snorgle. trust me i've ran wires with less
