sealing subs down?

just a thought, today i have a sub box leaking alot of air from the factory gasket  mounted on the bottom of the sub, what do you guys use as a safe and secure air sealer for the sub to Glass???

what he said weatherstrip works great and cheap

homedepot ,car auto parts stores are more like 8-10 bucks for a small roll.

IF the subs are flush mounted you can try some sort heavy fabric. not fleece or anything like that, but, try something like felt, suede, maybe even try to find some sort of rubber insulation...spray or mat. that should seal the sub to the box but not loose the flushness.

Bran I had that problem in just a little area, like a 1"-1 1/2" long. So I took a piece of an old bicycle innertube and cut it to fit and then slid it underneath and screwed my subs back down and voila, no more leaky.
Learning the trade one fiberglass creation at a time!
