ok i was wondering about the rear lights u know how ya see black standard rear lights or front headlights how is that done is it just a tint film over top or what

as in i mean standard rear lights but they are black as if you have spray painted them black ?? does anyone know what i mean? if so how is that effect acheived

In most states....too dark is illegal. Go see a body & paint shop....

Its not just paint...

The last car I owned I had mine blacked....The guy used a Clear Coat / Black Paint Mix....

They looked great....Looked black and then when you hit the brake they lit up very well....I also put in an LED Kit to make them brighter when they were on...Never got any crap from the cops about them...

Dont know how much or what he mixed but you might go to a body shop and ask about it....

It's just a light coat of black paint, you can do it yourself or there is a product made for it, something like nightshades.
Here it is:
VHT NiteShades
Spray light coats on what you want to look black, and then test for darkness.
If you want to just do it yourself, you can use regular black paint and do LIGHT coats, like three or two if you can get them good and even and then they will work out great. Mixing black paint with clear is a good idea also because you will get the black thinned and the hardness of clearcoat which will make them last.
