My only opinion is to stop where you are at and see a qualified installer. The installer will be glad to help you with an amp choice.

Well I went and bought a C-450 Boss amp (600 watt) and hooked up my two subs to them.  Those things drive so hard it made my friend puke.  I myself was even sick to my stomach the first few hours.  I found out that installing an amp and hooking up subs is actually a breeze.  Thanks for all the info!!!

Luckily I already replaced all my speakers.  I have 3.5 " Sony Xplodes in the front and 6 x 9" Pyramids in the back.  I can't even hear the Pyramid's anymore becasue of the woofers!  Oh well, the Sony's put out a lot considering they are only 3.5's.  I was thinking of putting those 6 x 9's in the  front doors and getting rid of the Sony's in the dash.  What do you think?

Your kidding right?    I think you might have something further wrong in your car if people get sick when they are in it.

hahaha, if your friend puked from a boss amp and legacy subs then there would be some bloodsplatter in my truck if he sat in it. Your friend must be a very very tender boy. Installing 2 Legacy Woofers - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.

I have the two subs right behind the passenger seat. I know it's not the loudness, but it's the vibration.  Those things hit really hard, I'm not kdding you.  I had a local electronics dealer look at my setup to see if everything was right and he said he couldn't believe how hard they bumped.  No joke.  But it's not loud enought for me right now.  I want it louder .Installing 2 Legacy Woofers - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.  Any tips to make it louder with the setup I got now?  My smallest wire is 12 gauge so I should be set there.  Any help would be appreciated because I'm a noob at this stuff.

First, out it in the trunk.   Just because it is aimed at your head dosent mean it will be louder.
Reflection, Cabin Gain, things you have not learnned about yet.
Start by putting your subs in the trunk

Great, interior volume is absolutely wonderful now but my trunk... OMG.  It rattles so bad you can hear it over the bass and that's at a 2 city blocks distance!  I've tried everything, but it just can't be stopped. Any suggestions?
