I just ordered a New head unit (Sony CDX-M7815X) and it has 3 4v preamp outputs. One is a subwoofer. The question is, should I run a third rca cable and use the sub out and ditch the MTX Crossover that I am currently using? Or should I use only the left/right outs with the crossover? I do not have the head unit in yet so I can not test out which I like better. I was hoping to get so others opinions!

Guess I should have posted the rest of my system specs! duh!

RF P3001 Mono Sub Amp, RF P4004 4 ch. Amp, MTX RA-X02a Crossover

I am running the front Mids/Highs off the 4 channel and the subs off the mono. If I am not going to need the crossover, I want to ditch it! More room in the hatch that way!
