Hey, i got a car and it came with a starter and i am having problems using the starter.. it starts the car. but KEEPS on cracking for like 15 seconds..
If i disconnect the battery and put it back it works perfectly fine for the first 2 or 3 times and then goes back to cracking for long time. On the remote i only see this.. no brand name or anything.

Could you possibly post a pic of the remote, or even a remotely close description of wmatthe remote looks like?
(For example: I would describe an older CS555 remote as oblong shaped, with two oval shaped rubber buttons that beep when pressed, and having a black plastic key ring)

Maybe you ought to check if it was installed using the tachless engine monitor feature instead of the tach input.
It relies on the voltage rise when the engine starts to determine if the engine has run up or not; if it's not working properly due to the sensing point or something, it might cause the problems you're having.
Could be why disconnecting and reconnecting it affects it, since it probably resets the voltage threshold it uses.
If that turns out to be the case, try connecting it up with tach sensing.

i took a look at it.. and it does have the tach hooked up..
i was thinking about unhooking it and seeing whats gonna happen? if its the same then maybe the tach isnt supplying the voltage right..
