Hi there,
Brand new, First Post, and limited knowledge.
I have purchased a relay (its nice and small), the planned purpose is to use my existing low beam signal to power up my HID light. This application is for a 2005 Honda Motorcycle.
Can someone tell me what lead to which pole?
I am assuming i will have the following:
Signal power in.
Main Power in.
Main power out.
Can someone also tell me what im missing because there are 2 poles left.

Thanks

yup i read that before i posted, still haven't discovered the answers i was looking for.
I am assuming that i hook up:
main power in to pole 1
main power out to pole 2
signal lead to pole 3
but what are my connections to poles 4 & 5

Ground to #2

Main 12v Power in #3

Main 12v out to light #5

don't know how much you know about the hid's.  i understand howyou are using the lowbeam to turn it on and off, are you using your high beam for

anything?  I just found out that the hid's do not like the voltage change and will die a lot sooner if you try to use low and hi beams on it.  If you knew tha already

great, ifnot hopefully it is useful information for you:)
