I was just searching for alarms for my '93 Eclipse 5 speed and this seems to be a good fit. It has the safety feature which 'remembers' if the car was shut down in gear or not....it must be shut down with the alarm while it is idling in nuetral, as well as have the p-brake and valet switch on or something like that.

I also found a nifty artical on adding a magnetic safety switch to disable the remote start if the car is in gear... http://www.darklightning.com/gi/trannysensor.htm  I would add this too, just to be safe, but having an alarm specifically designed for manual transmissions is the safest bet.

This alarm seems to have what I need, I'd like to know if anyone has installed these or uses them and recomends this or maybe something better?
