Hey guys/gals i was wondering how everyone mounts their LEDs for their interior of their car. I was thinking of getting some Plexiglass and drilling the 5mm holes every 2-3 inches apart and mounting that under my seats. Would that work good?

Each plexiglass piece would be cut to around 12 inches and i can put 6 leds in the glass. Then i could hotglue or epoxy the leds to the plexiglass. Would that work?

I originally mounted them on tracks like so.

I then decided while I was painting the molds that this was much nicer

looks sweet, that idea will work but maybe add a few more and only space them maybe 1 to 1 1/2 inches, good luck

Actually I have 47 LEDs that come on when my interior light trigger is active. Trust me anymore would be overkill LOL

LEDs typically emit a very narrow light band.  Spacing them closer together will definately eliminate dead spots in the light.

typically yes, very narrow, this can be changed by sanding down the tip to less of a point, not too far however u do lose loose intensity which isn't always a bad thing
