2005 grand cheroke remote start

has anyone done a new 2005 grand cheroke and has had the check engine light come on and throw a trans code?i wired as per dei tech notes the car started ,heat worked etc but sometimes check engine would come on

Be sure you have the correct Resistance powered at the correct time:

You can use DEI or:

VIOLET/BROWN Wire Must See GROUND Through 100 Ohm Resistor During Start To Crank And Ground Through 300 Ohm Resistor During Run For Accessories

Personal, DEI, OMEGA, Car Data, etc.
after U get my age, there are a lot of NEW things that work.........
