VSS Wire in a 95 Sunfire

i am looking for the vss wire in a 95 sunfire 2.2l i went on rostra .com and i told me that it was in the ecu harness the blue one i beleive and that it was position number 8 the color of that wire is not green and white so i need help finding it thanks,

Just go behind the speedometer and test with dmm.

VSS Wire: Blue 32 Pin Connector Position 8
VSS Wire Color: Dark GREEN / WHITE
VSS Pulse: 4000

no i ried rostra.com but the pin number 8 was not green with a white stripe i tapped it at the cruise control its the k pin i beleive in the cruise module and it was green  the white stripe

Next to the driver's side shock tower under the hood is a large connector plug. You may have to remove the air cleaner box to access it. There is a GREEN / WHITE wire that is near the corner of the plug closest to the driver's front corner of the car. The wire is only on the underside of the plug and does not come through the top of it. This is the VSS wire.

Chevy Caviler Pontiac Sunfire 1995-2001
VSS: Drivers dash at firewall, Main harness,
Wire Color, GREEN / WHITE (small gauge wire)
(It’s close to the backside of the largest section of wiring harness
That is covered by about 4” of corrugated plastic tubing.)
4000 pulse (switches are set)
Optional location: Under Air box, Multi-pin plug,
Wire color, GREEN / WHITE
Optional location: 97-01, at ECM under passenger’s fender, access from in the wheelwell, towards front,
Black 80 pin plug, pin 16 GREEN / WHITE wire
Optional Location 96, at ECM under passengers fender, access from in the wheelwell, towards front,
Blue 32 pin plug, pin 1 GREEN / WHITE wire
Optional Location 95, at ECM under passengers fender, access from in the wheelwell, towards front,
Gray 32 pin plug, pin 8 GREEN / WHITE wire
Pass wires through large gray rubber plug
Hot Brake: ORANGE
Cold Brake: WHITE or Light Bl
