Once again trial and error, the result...green white at ecm at pass side firewall (there are 2 green with white so test each before soldering). All of the other info I have found gave incorrect colors, try this, Hope it helps!

Hello RAYROBSON,

No need to pick up VSS at ECM(GM calls PCM). here is all what I know:

Factory head-unit has Auto Volume at the right side bottom on the face? If so, VSS is just behind head-unit.

12 way connector behind the radio, you can see 2 of GREEN / WHITE wires. one is VSS, other is Audio Signal.

collect pin is "E".both side are blank, you can see "bare" wire with same cavity lines.bare wire is not shield.

If your H3 has no "AUTO VOLUME", just remove passenger's side A-piller cover located at the floor panel.

you can see 22 way connector with lock-tab. A8 is VSS. Happy Holidays!
