I am doing a deck install on a '98 Isuzu Rodeo tomorrow. A local shop said a dash kit is not necessary, but it shows they make on for that year on the Metra site. Can anyone verify this?

does the factory radio have a pocket below the radio? is the factory radio the same size as the aftermarket? if so, you just use the factory brackets. not aftermarket kit.

no offense, but if I had the car here, then I would've known. it's for an install that I am doing later this afternoon. I have to buy the kit and harness from a local shop, so I need to have the stuff beforehand

I guess, just an extra trip I wouldn't need to make. anyway, install was done today. easiest install ever, and kit was not needed.
