hey guys doing a 06 infiniti g35 coupe.... using a 600.4 and a 2400.1 amp..... using 0ga wire.....do they make a alternator or do i need to upgrade the alternator.... if so what size??? also who do u guys recommend??? ohio generator??? stinger???.. any and all info is appreciated....

well that is alot of power to be running off of a stock alternator.... u should up grade the BIG 3.. search this forum for that.. then i would reccommend an ho alt. but they may not make one.. ohio gen and stinger r good but very pricey.. u could try an iraggi from ebay or check out this place... www.alternatorparts.com he was a big help to me... and the bigger the better with the size

Read the grounding sticky to start, If the user is going to be balls to the wall, definitely get a new alternator. Get one that is purpose built and not a rehash either. Stinger and Ohio are both expensive but well worth it for reliability and predictability in the long run.
