I installed a viper 560xv on my friends 1995 taurus. Everything is fine except for the trunk pop. I know i need to use a relay, etc...but i cant find the right wire to tap into. He has trunk pop on his factory keyfob, and the wiring diagram says the wire is "on the switch in dash". he dosnt have a switch in the dash for it, only a lever by his drivers seat, which is cable operated. Can someone point me to the direction of where the wire is for his trunk popper. Thanks in advance!

if it is the sedan model you can get it at the keyless module, the color is purple / YELLOW and it is positive pulse

but yah every other site says grey/red at the trunk release lever or switch

Check Trunk Release Switch....Should be Gray / Red + Pulse

otherwise:

Keyless Module Located Behind Passenger Rear Seat

PIN 87 = Constant 12 volt ( + )

PIN 87a = XX
PIN 30 = Trunk Wire Purple / Yellow
PIN 85 = Negative Trunk Output from Unit
PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )
