Just curious if any one knows what would happen if you ran just one coil of a dvc sub? i know it would need half the power of both coils. but would it destroy the sub?  im not saying i want to do this. just a simple question. that im not 100 percent sure about.

thanks

Two sources of material to get you going on this:

topic: wiring dvc 4 ohm subs

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
