Both torrents are located here: http://thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3447429.

I will be posting this, and the CNDV-40 v1.2 images to the pioneer.discussion newsgroup once I'm done downloading the torrent. For everyone trying to get the torrent, I am 96% done with disc 1 and 84% done with disc 2. However, when I will actually finish them is a mystery. I've dedicated my up and down speeds to these two torrents since the 27th, but with the peers coming and going, it's taking a very, very long time.

Sorry, I meant seeds coming and going. I wish I could edit my posts!!

I've looked... and I don't see a pioneer.discussion newsgroup.  Not in Google, not in UseNext, not anywhere.

It's there, I think you just need a decent newsprovider. I checked Google Groups and don't see it either.  Both Giganews and  Newscene carry it though. Many newsproviders carry free trials, so it might be worth it to join one just to grab these files and then cancel it. I have finally completed my download of disc 1, and am 96% done with the other. However, there's no seeds again, so who knows how much longer it will be.

**UPDATE**   For all you N1 owners that want the new maps, and not have the lockout, I got the new map from the 50MT disc to work on the 40MT ver 1.2 software disc!!!!   All I did was copy the ALLDATA.KWI over from the new disc to the old disc (and of course I removed the old version of the file!)  This will not work on the original release ver 1.0 software.   I had to downgrade two firmwares in my unit to do this: Application and System OS.  The new maps come right up.  THIS MAP DISC IS A SINGLE LAYER VERSION BETA.  I cannot route presently as I do not have the POID and POISR files on here.  I will give it a try right now  by burning a dual layer.  Wish me luck! ( Otherwise I may have wasted a good DL DVD!)

It didnt work for me. I ended up wasting a DL DVD. I copied just the alldata file over from 50mt to my 1.1 mt and the maps do work and everything but when I did a search for my home address it was like 2 miles off on the location and it was like that with every address I entered... Let us know how it goes though because you said 1.2 40mt and I tried it on the 1.1 40mt.

Both the torrents finished downloading overnight for me (finally!). As I mentioned earlier, I am willing to post them to the newsgroup, but it's going to be a major drain on the PC to compress/split the files using WinRAR. If there is enough interest from this group, I will do it though. Please reply to this and let me know. I will post both the CNDV-40MT and CNDV-50MT discs.

as for the dvd dl, you can leave out the idx folder, and burn to a dvd rw...that's how i've been testing it.  I have gotten the data swap to work for my home address only...any other address i have tried to use simply returns me to the previous screen.
