home theater in a car?

could i hook up a home sub in a  car if i used a power inverter to power it and hooked it up with the pre amps?
help?

Could you?  Sure.  Would it sound good?  Not necessarily.  Plus you'll need one heck of a power inverter to supply thenecessary power.

Having installed many home theaters, I've noticed that the subs make use of the the room for the complete formation of the wave where car subs use the box mostly due to the difference in listening space. You will probably not achieve the results you are hoping for.
My wife will never understand why, lucky for her!
