04 kia optima, code alarm

i have an 04 kia optima and had circuit city install a code alarm the CSI-300 and i recently got tha CA-425 and ca545 from a friend i took it to cc to have them take the old one out and install the new on but they can not do it since they dont carry code alarm any more so i was gonna try to install it any suggestions??

do your homework first find all your wiring and understand what each wire does. next do you have all the proper tools. if not dont even attempt it yourself.

Make sure to recheck the work that C.C. did. Especially if you reuse any of their wiring for you inputs to the new alarm. ALWAYS use a Multimeter, this will protect you cars computer. Also don't ground the probe while checking the wires, this too could fry your car's computer.

i have tried to install the r/s/alarm and im having a problem with getting the remotes to program im doing what the book says to do but not working and i have a clip with for wires on it that im not sure about for chanel 1,2,3,4 do i need to have that hooked up on the alarm for the remotes to work?
