hey guys, this may be a rather dumb question but here goes. I'm installing a 5204 on a 2001 f350, the door trigger isolation diagram talks about VSS-100. Just wondering what that is and where I might find the VSS-100 white wire

Thanks

vss is Astro's "old school" way of describing a Vehicle Security System. Astro used to make a seperat security module to add to there remote starts, it was called a VSS-100. The 5204 (which is an awsome piece) is an all in one, security and R/S. Disregaurd that statement...You will follow that diagram BUT you will connect it to the purple (pos)+ door trigger input on the P-1 connector. Don't forget you also need to ground the white(neg)- door triger input. This diagram is designed to eliminat "false alarms" from the BCM.

PM me if you need anymore assistance
