I was driving home listening to my music cranked as i always to..  only something different happened.   About mid song my front speakers and sub started to pop and crackle.  They would still produce sound at low volume, but when i started turning them up they crackle and pop  like they are exagerating the bass signals.  When i look at the amp the light on it seems to dimm whenever i turn the volume up.  It never did this before..  any ideas what could be causing this?   perhaps a wire came out somewhere?

Front Speakers : MBQuart Premiums

Sub : Crappy mtx 10"

Amp: PG Xenon 100x4

Double check your ground and watch the voltage across the power and ground terminals of the amp when this happens.  Also check the dc resistance of each of the speakers that are connected.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

EASY SOLUTION BROTHER!!!   when ur speakers are poping do ur rear ones do it to?? IF NOT ARE the running throught your 4 channel?? i assume not because two channels running ur fronts and other two bridge for sub am i correct?? if thats the case and the rears arent poping wiht the rest of the system, there is a leaking capacitor inside the aftermarket amp !! which is not uncommon!!
