is it possible to upgrade my n2 with n3's software and if so ho do i doit

will pioneer send me this?

Pioneer will not send you this "upgrade". Pioneer only sends out "updates", to resolve any software glitches of the current software. You will need to purchase the upgrade for $249.00 at a local retailer.

read the big thread about modding the avic disks, yes you can upgrade the n2 with the n3 disks, just put the n3 disk in the unit, it will only update maps, the new features of the unit are hardware related.

Does anyone know if you can upgrade the system with the N3 software, but still use the N2 disk for other functions?  I'd like the better GUI that the N3 offers and I can get ahold of a disk but only for a short time from my work...
