Have you contacted Pioneer for repair center info?
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

I was told that pioneer will not send out parts! Are there any internet companies?

there is really no internet avenue for fixing your own stereo... if you can source the part #'s of the gears, etc you need many service centers will be willing to just sell you the parts.....  just dont expect a service center to tie up their technicians looking up part numbers for you for free.....

i assume its all ther same parts, but i had a similar problem with my 860MP(Premier)... it sometimes didnt want to flip out.. i found that if you give a quick push on the top portion of the faceplate(nothin huge cause you dont wanna break anything) then both motors will work.
