AVIC-Z1 DVD Bypass

I know this unit is brand new. I have one, but haven't figured a way to bypass it.

It basically locks out after 20km/h. So I don't know if there's a way to bypass the gyro sensor. I've tried grounding the handbrake wire, also tried wiring in a toggle switch.  Oh, FYI the N3 if you bypass it voids your warranty now. :(

Where did you get your Z1?  I've heard it was supposed to release "early spring" but some said March for sure and it's still not available for purchase.  I thought it would be available today for sure but I guess not.  Did you receive a "test" unit?

They arrived to west coast dealers on Thursday, probably take a few extra days for east coasters
