I just ordered an Avic-N2 from the States and it wont work with the european navigation map(CNDV-50MT) disc since the unit is design to read region 1 discs and europe has the region code of 2.
How do I make the unit read region 2 DVD discs?
Does anyone know? I canīt watch dvd movies (Region 2)either.

i think when you put the euro disks in the unit loads the new sowtware for the other region that you are in.

Thanks infinkc, but the unit simply does not recognize the disc because of the difference in region codes, or so I was told. it doesnīt recognize dvd movies with the region 2 code either.
