each amp is fused at 30 i just went out and bought an ANL 150 fuse do you think that it would fix the problem

Explain what you mean by "melted the fuse"- is the metal conductor broken or did the plastic melt?  If the plastic melted, then it's too close to a heat source- relocate it elsewhere.  If the conductor is broken, and you're unable to locate a short anywhere, I'd try the new fuse.  I've seen the glass type come unfused at the ends under normal use, but not a blade type.  Let us know how it turns out.

You need a 60 amp main fuse.  If the actual metal is melting, it means you have a short.  But, like geepherder mentioned, if the actual plastic melted, it is too close to heat.  It is possible the wire is grounding out or maybe an amplifier is fried.
