Installing a cap. which does not have a Distribution block on it.  http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/2135 theres the link to the same one i have. In the install directions it says get a non fused block, 12v in, 1 out to cap, 1 out to amp. i dont get how this works, i thought caps had to be installed in series. I do understand caps have little effect, but i do like the look and i like the meter on it.

Nope, it needs to be wired in parallel.

Huh?  Slow down, relax and read THIS page.  Power does not "redirect itself" by the way... whatever that means!

j0ne, parallel wiring is all same-polarity points that are connected together with wire or other means of connection.  You can look at it as immediate, or instant, connectivity.  There is no current flow described in the following illustration, as all of the points are of the same polarity:

This respresents seven points of connection, all of the same polarity.  Every point is connected by wiring and there is an instant connection between all seven points.  When you have a complete circuit (both polarities in place) and all of the electrical forces are in motion, there will be current flow according to the physical laws described by Ohm and others.  You don't have to burden yourself with trying to figure out how the current will flow in this, or your, same-polarity illustration.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

"Yes, it can be done".

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
