i installed a viper 719XV in a 1999 toyota camry. everything works fine except for that fact that the dam thing wont learn the tach. I checked the wire and its giving me .3 - .5 AC volts. And its the rite wire according to directechs. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

that voltage seems too low, that wire are you using exactly, is this the 4 or 6 cylinder?

Are you able to get into the programming mode at all? If the heavy pink wire from the relay pack isn't connected to ignition, or if the ribbon cable is loose or disconnected at either end, the unit won't learn tach because it can't detect you've turned the key.
