Im installing remote start on a new gmc canyon and the techsoft says that a 555lw should work,  well i tried it today and none of the passlock wires are even in the colum, so what do i do now????  how do i get around passlock on these cars???

The correct DEI piece is the 556LW. It will interface properly. Or you can make your own bypass using resistors and relays.
