i still kinna question all that space used for the amp... was it really necessary to use fiberglass to mold the back piece in this case?

Came out really good, Im glad you cut down the enclosure to correct the air space problem you might have run into. Keep up the good work! 2006 Accord sub enclosure and amp rack - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.

If you pay attention to the comments you'll notice that it's TEMPORARY. He's going to be swapping it out for a more powerful amp in the future.

Yeah, sort of felt foolish having to watse that much work and materials.  The original plan was for the amp to be mounted toward the front end of the enclosure and the sub toward the back with each section chambered off but I sort of forgot about the arm for the trunk lid and where it would end up when closed.  There just wasn't enough room for it to fit and look correct so off to the other side of the trunk it went.  Not like I need access to the jack, i have a 2 ton floor jack in the garage.2006 Accord sub enclosure and amp rack - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.

Very Clean looks good.. seems like a waste of material to make a full enclosure for the amp. but still it looks great.
