hey,

so i am stuck trying to decide what sub i am going to upgrade to. I am trying to spend less than 300 dollars on the sub. i really like the jl 12w6, but it is a little pricy $380. I just want some expert advice on a sub for less than $300, that will rattle my brain. Amp suggestions are also appreciated.

hey, everyone has got to start somewhere. but ill learn

So you are looking for an spl sub basically?
Well the new kicker cvx are around that price range or the solo-baric. But don't forget that the box will make or break the sound.

I used to have these in my car http://www.alphasonik.com/frameset.html i like them more for there amplifiers, but there subs are nice. As for a selling point they have a nice price and if you buy from a dealer a really nice warrenty.

Take a look at this...  Eclipse SW7200.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

The JL isnt a SPL sub. its leaned way more to sound quality. but 380 for it is a pretty good deal seeing as how i pop them out all the time at 450-499 at the shop
