I need to know this before I go and finish the box I'm currently building for my 2 12" Kicker CVR's.

The reccomended max volume for the 1 CVR are 4.6cf in a sealed box, which is good for 300 watts. The minimum is 1.0cf, which is good for 400 watts.

The box deminsions are 32"w x 14"h x 23"d giving the total box 4.7cf, with the divider it gives each sub 2.35cf of volume (From what the calculator states on this site) I'm giving both subs 787wrms which is giving each sub a little over 300wrms.

Now, is that box way too big for the CVR's since they're seeing over 300wrms? I'm being told that everything is fine and it should sound better than my old 1.2cf or so Radio Shack prefab, and then I'm being told that the box is too big for the subs and they'll be sloppy and die with that much power to them in the bigger box, when I was aiming for deeper bass/better sq. The one person off this forum sent me the box plans so I don't know how he got his information, even tho I trust him and he seemed to know what he was doing. Any advice on what I should do?

You should be fine.  Just make sure your enclosures are properly sealed, set your amplifier gain properly and use a LP filter set around 80-100Hz.

I've got the perfect box for ya for sale. I had it in my Grand Am with 2 VRs. Its a ported box tuned to approxametly 38hz. I'm selling it for $50 plus you pay shipping if your interested.
If your counting pennies and dimes then maybe you shouldn't be spending every penny and dime you have!!

Thanks DYohn for the advice.

boug, I'm not interested in buying a box when I already have one almost built, but thanks anyways.
