Try the new Alpine PDX 1000.1  amp.  If not this one you definately need the JL 1000/1.    The orion is a good choice.  Please by all means don't use the alphasonik or the infinity ref.

Sell them, install them, not impressed!  They seem to lack punch!  They are squirly at 2 ohms.

I was looking at 12w7 I called JL and they said It would run great on the 500watts. On their web site they have a power chart. Down load the PDFs and also on there amps. They give allot of flexibility. I have talked to some the had 1000 watt amp and they said it was over kill.

a 12w7 with a JL 500/1 sounds GREAT and it wont draw nearly as much power as a 1000/1. and a JL 300/4 would be great for a "matching" amp for your components.

JL 500/1 is enough for a 12W7...Friend has 12W7 on a 500/1 (couldn't afford 1000/1) and it shakes everything while still sounding soo clean.
