I'm trying to install the above alarm and installing the starter defeat option.  The instructions call for an "Orange wire (-) Antigrind/Starter Defeat" wire.  Where do I find this wire?

thats the stater kill wire.
wire it to a spdt relay like this
85 Orange wire
86 ignition
87 Starter (key side)
30 Starter (starter side)

That wire is one of the wires that come off of the brain of the 5000. Then wire it to the relay as described above.

thats the problem.  there is no orange wire coming out of the brain.  I know how to do the rest.

Should be pin 7 from the right side of the main harness. if its not there then return the harness to where you got it for a new one.
