I install DEI CAN-1 on a 2006 VW Passat and if I lock the door with the factory key fob I'm not able to unlock the vehicule doorlock with the CAN-1. I can only unlock the door when the vehicule is running.
Anybody have clue on this ???

have you used the "factory alarm disarm and unlock" wires or just the unlock wires?

it could be an incompatability with the 2006 vehicle. There is also an issue with 2006 Golf r32's but this is related to the tach wire dropping out.

I did something test with this car.... Is possible to disarm the factory alarm only with factory key fob not with a key inside driver door. Conclusion DEI CAN-1 for PASSAT 2006 is not compatible with this car... Sorry.
