I am installing a Pioneer rearview camera as the final touch to my wife's 2005 Ford Focus.

I have already installed:

2 Pioneer monitors in the headrests for my kids,

a 4 in/4out AV switcher which allows me to select independently between sources for each individual monitor,

and a rearview mirror with built in monitor for the main purpose of viewing my rearview camera while in reverse.

I also connected an ipod video and portable dvd player as my main 2 sources in the car, and tapped into the factory radio with an aux adapter.

I would simply like to know if there is any location in the front of the car where I could tap into the reverse light trigger without having to run a cable from the trunk  (at the actual light) back to the front for my rearview camera/monitor.

I know I have to run the cable from the actual camera from the back of the car to my monitor or switcher, but I would like to keep the amount of cables running from the back to a minimal.

I thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Thanks Josh! I got the whole thing set up over the weekend. My wife loves the rearview camera, and so does my 3 yr. old daughter. Now she prefers to watch the camera image on her monitor instead of her movies off the ipod.

I appreciate your help.
