I would think you could buy a set of the tweeters that come with the Hex componants around that pricerange, maybe cheaper even.

Generally the most expensive part of a high end speaker set is the crossovers. You would probably be surprised to find out the actual manufacturing cost of the Hex tweeters compared to the other parts.
