ROFL! Yeah the sub is pretty nasty (350 lbs for those who don't know about this 22" beast) and PMR used the trunk as the enclosure and it is sealed fairly well, but the poor car just isn't stiff enough to support it well.

As for your customer, we praying for you.

Good Luck!

I was at my local shop last month and a guy was having a jackhammer put in his escalade EXT.  He already had three Solo X 18's powered by 6 Kicker Zr1000's and wanted the jackhammer also.  So he has it in his trunk bed being powered by four Crossfire 4000's (4000 watts rms each).  So i asked the installer how this would sound... He said like crap but the guy wanted it to show off.  That's 22,000 watts of power in an escalade.  I asked him how much the customer paid for the labor....$2,500 and the box was nowhere complete.  Oh and supposedly they were going to fiberglass the entire thing.   Don't know how much mat you would need but im guessing a whole lot.  Even though it was impractical, it was still the most amazing system i have ever seen in person.

the sub in general is very impractical. When you look at what needs to be purchase along with the sub just to power the thing. The only thing it is good for is showing off.
